Big cat nonprofit Panthera partners with Zooniverse to bring you Camera CATalogue*. Here, citizen scientists can help classify wild animals, including snow leopards and tigers, through camera trap image identification to help researchers learn more about big cat populations in Southeast Asia, Southern Africa, Central America.

Tiger Nation is a citizen monitoring project aimed at monitoring populations of tigers in India through identification and classification of camera trap images. Free membership signup required to gain access to tiger images.

Wildsense is a new app/game in which users analyze tiger photos from camera traps in India for tiger presence. The data is then collected and analyzed to study the animal’s behavior, tracking and population counts.
